Allah’s omniscience in doubt, keeps a memorandum

Whatever has happened, is happening and will happen has been recorded by Allah. It was recorded in a book even before human beings were created. This is predestination as understood by the Muslims. This does not mean that the people will do what is written but rather means that “the people do, that is why it is written”. On the day of judgment, each person will be given his/her record and no injustice will be done. Each person will clearly see what he/she did and will not complain about his/her reward or punishment. Allah does not need this book but rather it is His favor upon the people.
